NOTES:
-Special thanks to Descendents of Darkness [Yami no Matsuei] by Yohko Matsushita for the use of Gushoshin, one of the librarian twins (they're pretty much interchangeable and of minimal importance in the series). This is a great series if you like Shonen ai. I love the boys, but I'll never understand the choice of using talking chickens as staff.
-Amber's shirt says "Taste the Rainbow," which I borrowed from Skittles, but the inuindo is obvious. There - now you'll never be able to eat multicolored candies again without thinking of gay love. I've just saved the teeth of thousands of homophobic males from a sugary death.

FURTHER READING (Because knowledge is power):
-Gundam was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino and Hajime Yadate, based on the work of Gerard O'Neal (according to Tokyopop). I believe the 'work' they refer to is The High Frontier, a book about the colonization of space. There are numerous series out there created as Gundam spinoffs (Gundam SEED, Gundam Wing, etc). Although I never got into it (not a mech person), most people know about the joke about the Gundam pilots being gay (Gundam Wing). Someone did a fabulous AMV with random bishonen, including the Gundam Wing pilots, to Weird Al's spoof song, "Which Backstreet Boy is Gay."
-Gravitation by Maki Murakami (that's a girl, btw) is a manga about a gay couple. I haven't read it yet, but it looks good. One of the guys looks like a little girl, though. He has pink hair.
-Lupin III by Monkey Punch [Katou Kazuhiko] is based on a series of stories by Maurice Leblanc of France. The first of these stories was published in 1905. What does this teach us? Learn history so you can steal ideas from your ancestors!
